Today, TALL TALK, the publication of the Tall Bearded Iris
Society, arrived. This is the first full color issue of TT and what an
issue it is - full of good reading, and the color pictures are fantastic.
The picture of Rick Ernst's RING AROUND ROSIE jumped off the
page and impressed me much more than STARSHIP
ENTERPRISE. If you haven't seen the picture yet, this is one TDF
iris. Congratulations to Rick!
White standards trimmed in gilt.
Falls are yellow with a violet plic wash with a white patch below
the yellow beards.
My description doesn't do RAR justice. You must see the
picture to appreciate this color break in plicatas.
I haven't been smitten so by a plic since CARAMBA was
introduced!
