Hi Betty and Talkers,
I thought when a plant sports it could be any part of
the plant i.e. flower color, leaves, branches etc. For
example in roses, Climbing Peace is a sport of Peace.
The original flower color is the same but the plant
habits have changed.
Speaking of sports, I was out in my garden today and
noticed that one fan in my clump of Purple Streaker
has decided to play with my head. One fan has
developed white variegation in the leaves. I am hoping
it stays that way.
