Re: OT-BIO
Hi Gwen,
Welcome to iris talk. What a great ambition! I would love to see beds like
that. To me it is fascinating to see the progression of all the different
types and characteristics of iris over the years. The closest we have to a
bed like that is Unicorn planted near (not next to) Momentous Occasion. I
am sure there are many people on iris talk that can give you a ton of
suggestions for your beds, especially the HIPS people. Once again welcome.

> Hello, I'm Gwen Hazelton, new to iris-talk. I've been growing TBs for
about 6 years now. Currently live in NW CT, but have done most of my
gardening in southern Maine. One of my long-term iris ambitions is to build
display beds illustrating the historical development of each TB color,
pattern & characteristic (e.g. lace). (I said long-term !) Suggestions for
key varieties that should be included in such beds are always welcome at
ghazelton@snet.net. Thanks.
