RE: CAT: Space Age Introductions


Interesting sound bite.  I know Ghio isn't particularly fond of space-agers;
I don't know what Keppel's playing with in the background.  Shreiners at
least lists space-agers; I don't know about Cooley's.  They probably are
geared more towards mass appeal than enthusiasts with a penchant for the
unusual.  For me, I sometimes find the appendages an enhancement, but it
depends on the flower.  Also, an ugly iris with great appendages is still an
ugly iris, and isn't it hard to purge those Sky Hooks genes (narrow falls)!
Things are getting a lot better, but many space-age intros ignore form and
concentrate on maximizing the appendage size.
