Moving results in mixed reviews. While we are on 'blacks,' RAVENWOOD was
one of the outstanding dark rebloomers I grew in Texas, and I thought
it was the greatest thing I had both for color and rebloom. I moved
to Mississippi. After fifteen years of pampering RAVENWOOD without a
decent bloomstalk, I tossed it.
A lot of my things hybridized in Texas fail here, but I can grow more
species.

I thought I had a rogue for EC. I failed to pick up on the correction in the '96 R & I
until just last year at bloom time. Then, a week later at a show, it was saved
from disqualification at a show I judged. I have to remind myself to
look at the R & I correction pages. I cannot believe that it was
originally registered as cornflower blue!
