CULT: lime-sulfur

Has anyone ever used lime-sulfur, summer foliage strength (?), on iris
for insect control and/or fungicide? Reading the label and doing some
research to use the lime-sulfur and dormant oil spray on fruit trees made
me curious about using it on the iris. With the rot problems I've had the
last few years, mainly on the rebloomers, I would like to try for better
control on the aphids this year. Couldn't find anything in the archives
on the lime-sulfur spray. Thanks.

I have a few reticulatas blooming! So far, still 100% survival on the
arilbreds bought and planted in 1999 from the Aril Society plant sale.
