Thanks everybody for the information, that yes, indeed aril breds
grow in the north. Or at least for some people. I'm going to give it
a try this year; see what happens. Maybe VOLUNTEER FIREMAN and one or
two others. I'll let you know if they all croak unceremoniously,
prove to be slug candy, or simply refuse to bloom.
Anybody know of a particularly tough-to-kill one, pass the name along.
