Re: Re: CULT:Arilbreds for the north

I have had some success growing 1/4 and 1/2 arilmeds. Carl Boswell sends
me his seedlings and introductions to test grow. Also I've purchased plants
through the society's sale, but have had mixed results partly because they
arrive here much too late in the fall. last year was later than usual, late
Sept and very few could get establish before cold weather. I'm expecting
high loss again. At last check, I have lost half of those planted late!
I had some great blooms last spring, but too early to place in our show
so more folk could
get exposed to these special plants. I would like to get some very late
blooming plants so I could have them at our show. Any suggestions?
