Nick,

I. pseudacorus lived a long time under drought conditions before it finally
died here.  I can't say it looked or bloomed well, but it survived.  At one
time, before the water rates were raised, it thrived on a regular watering
schedule of once a week.  I gave some to my sister in Houston and it thrives
there without any special care.  Neither situation was a bog garden.
