  Wow, Donald, what wonderful prose!  You make me want each and every one of your favorites.  I printed your e-mail so I can savor it again slowly in my easy chair then pass it along to a friend who also writes beautifully and is not online.  Your descriptions bring not only a mental image of each iris but I can almost touch each one and smell its fragrance.  Thanks for the tour on a cold winter's night.
