The judges should have been dq'd for not asking that the stalk be lifted
out of the container. Specifically allowed in the Handbook, and clearly
called for here.

Both examples given in this thread are irritating, embarassing, and
humbling.

But please, let us not restart the "iris judging is a crapshoot" or
"iris judging is as fixed as figure skating" threads. I am still
recovering from wounds I received in the last go-rounds in these areas.
