I have an idea you might like. Why not order yourself a copy of the AIS
Judges Handbook? There are not only answers to questions you have asked but
also answers to lots of other inetersting ones you may have later! You can
learn stuff not only about what judges look for, but how many things work in
the AIS. And I think its very readable.
As far as I know, anyone can purchase a handbook but if anyone knows
differently, please squeek up...
