Hi,
This might not be too helpful as I live in Michigan--zone 5b. However, my
Gibson Girl does very well--even through the sometimes very wet springs we
have. Of course, our summers are usually not very wet. If yours does not
do well and you'd like to try again--email me and I'll send you a peice of
mine later this summer. Mine also reblooms here every year in the fall.
