Hi Carol,
      I'm not surprised...and I'll bet Lady Friend starts right with my SDB' 
s this year...last year was a bit weird with bloom times and I'm starting to 
think our weather  swings  from cold to hot and vice versa is going to make 
some season bloom indications (VE, E, M, L VL) useless in many years, at 
least for me.    I have a clump of an LA that was here when I moved here and 
it looks like it wants to put up a stalk...even after being moved which would 
just be amazing.    Never seen it yet because the area from which it was 
moved was waaaayyyy too shady.   Will be interresting to see how everyone's 
bloom season turns out this year.
