Janet,
I have looked at your album of unidentified irises and offer you the
following comments on some of them:
#4: I think that there is a high probability that this one is indeed
WABASH. Besides its other characteristics it displays the wedge-shaped
falls that seem to me to be almost a defining characteristic of this
cultivar.
#6: This one looks like a species form of I. pallida based on flower color
and form, branching, papery spathes, and foliage.
#7: I agree that this one could be PERFECTION. I see nothhing it its
appearance that rules out its identification as such.
#11: This one might be PATRICIAN (H. F. Hall, 1953). The checklist
description of this cultivar is "TB, 36in., ML. White self, overlay of
barium yellow on F., surrounding beard of same yellow."
#13: This one is likely to be SHERWIN-WRIGHT (Kohankie, 1915), which is a
yellow self mutant of HONORABILE.
