Hi Dave and Laurie,
Actually, the information provided in the listings prior to 1949 is not nearly as thorough as that presented in later checklists. Many of the listings are pointers to other documents, i.e. AIS Bulletins (or similar listings). All of this provides an argument favoring the online checklist concept. Many of us have difficulty in going through so many source documents. In any case, thanks for clarifying the data from the 1929 checklist is incorporated into the 1939 volume. BTW I found the 1929 volume on ebay about a year and a half ago.

In actuality the '39 Check List incorporated all the data found in the '29
Check List and *supposedly* corrected the errata. 'twere not so!!!! The '29
Check List IS NOT available from the AIS Bookstore.
