Hooray for progress Neil - good to hear directly from you, & speedy
recovery of swallowing & irising.

Congrats on baby irises.  It will be really interesting to see how they
do when the March murderous freeze hits <g>.  Let's hope you get some
really toughies out of that bunch.

<On to iris---the first of the new germinants poked their heads through
the
                   ground yesterday.  I was beginning to wonder if I had
done something fatally
                   wrong as this is astonishingly late for this to be
