I expect both of Chris's typos were the result of those "0"s supposed to
be degree designations (-27C and 6C respectively).

Indeed! It's 36 right now with predicted highs again today of 50-55. We
leapt into mud season in a BIG way yesterday, and it's about time! It's
supposed to be even a few degrees warmer tomorrow before slowly cooling
off to the 30's again by the end of next week.

Unfortunately, our plants have had almost no while mulch protection all
winter, and our temps have been brutal. I don't even want to anticipate
how much die off will have occurred in my bearded beds again this year.
Ugh.
