Being an 'old wife' myself, I know that _some_ of my PBF
bearded irises do very well in this cold climate. Some do
not...one of my favorite IBs, HALSTON, has almost saturated PBF
and is a shy bloomer here. It didn't bloom at all last year but
grew well and increased.

After the snow melt when the garden is visible, I will do a spot
check for PBF..I know I have a whole lot. I am thinking that I
have some that are not on Laurie's list so will post to her when
I do my notes on PBF.
