All,
I just received an update on Neil's condition from his daughter. Neil is
still hospitalized but has been moved from Intensive Care to a regular
room. They have gotten his fever reduced and pneumonia under control,
but he is still extremely nauseous and having a problem aspirating gunk
into his lungs. They now have him not swallowing again, which I'm sure
is very frustrating for Neil. There's no word yet on how long they'll
keep him in the hospital this time.
I'm sure Neil could use some cheering up right about now, so I intend to
send him some flowers (retics or Dutch irises, of course - whatever the
florist has available). I'll have the card signed from the entire iris
mailing list, so he'll know we're all thinking about him and wishing him
well.
Keep sending those prayers and healing vibes his way!
