Just as the photos before, if you look closely, the purple pigment is
really on the base of the leaf.  If you peeled the leaf off the color
should come with it, unless perhaps there is some hidden under the leaf
base that we're not seeing.  The color just doesn't extend very far up the
leaf.

It would be interesting to know if there are some modifiers that control
how extensive the coloration on the leaves is, and if there would be some
way to breed for enhanced coloring if this was understood a little better.
(maybe somebodies already worked it all out???).
