Yahoo is famous for the problems you mentioned, and several others. All I
can tell you is that for most folks persistence pays off. However, there is
at least one person on this least who got frustrated and typed in an
"unusual" password only to have it work <G>

I just got back from that site. I fianally managed to convince it to let me
look at all the pretty pictures, but as for setting up an account, or adding
it to my yahoo groups list... I've tried to do both of those at least twice
with no success. Once i got a message that said it was going to e'mail me
back, but I never got the profered response.
I can echo Char's frustration with the whole thing.
