Hi Pat, and all,
I have a seedling (IDA RED X. FREE SPACE) that started blooming it's maiden 
bloom Feb. 22. I have counted 11 buds on it, so it is putting on a good show. 
Also two of it's siblings have stalks starting to show color as well. This is 
the earliest I can remember having irises in bloom.
