Hello everyone. . . sorry to "shout" in the subject, but I NEED HELP!

Yahoo sent me this following e-mail message, WITH and attachment, but I don't want to open it. I already sent this to spoof@ yahoo-inc.com, hoping that they'll tell me it was indeed a virus/scam, but I'm not sure.

If anyone out there can help me with advice on what to do, please tell me, onlist of offlist. I do not want to loose another e-mail address, my last one on yahoo was *suddenly* disabled.

Adam,

Please don't thin I am picking on you, I am not, but I want to get a point across to everyone.

Spoofers, virus writers, spam artists and all the other low life out there that make our lives uncomfortable are very clever and ******* we have to use all the resources we have at hand to try to protect ourselves ********

In this case, taking the time to read the message carefully, recognizing its improper grammar (aside from the fact it makes no sense) should alert you all to the fact that it is a spam message trying to get you to email back and reveal information. . Pay no attention to these kinds of messages. Just delete them.

As always, Please do not respond to messages like this on the list. Send them to me privately, as well as any other questions or comments you have.

Chris tells me that he sets filters to catch some of the more common subject lines (once he recognizes them) so that the list doesn't get flooded.

Thx

John
