HYB: WHOLE CLOTH/inhibitor

Neil, could you elaborate on this? I was under the impression that
PROGENITOR had the inhibitor and it was thought to have come from the
balkana/reichenbachii/whatever dwarf ancestor.

[for those who go looking for context, this is from another discussion
forum but I can't remember which one].

<There are a few cases where a cv has a trait, such as the "Whole

that character
can come from. I know of two such instances, both from well known
and reliable
hybridizers. Either seedlings numbers got mixed or the pollen did,
or else there
was a bee in the woodpile. Neil Mogensen >
