This is a totally non-iris question, but my daughter has a friend in La Jolla
who complains she can't get things that will grow in the shade.  So I thought
maybe one of you who live down that way might have an answer.  You may e-mail
me privately so that we don't clutter the iris line with non-iris issues.
Would appreciate any replies.
