Re: Re: REB: SA: HYB: TB: Reeds luminata

Linda:
Sorry, I'm pathetically bad about bothering with seedling numbers. I don't
really have enough good ones to care, usually. Starting with this year's
bloom I may have to be more dedicated. (Lots of luminatas, space-age
plicatas, and Louisa's Song children will be blooming for the first time.) If
I ever introduce it, look for Stage Lights X (Filibuster x Rock Star). I will
probably make a similar cross someday with a different (F x RS) sibling, but I
doubt I will ever see those long, erect flounce-like spoons again. The
sibling was my wide, wildly patterned plicata with huge ruffled flounces. I
have discarded the luminata sib used in the Stage Lights cross (it had
ordinary spoons, and was short, small, and drab-looking). Its bloodline will
continue, however; that Stage Lights cross has more virgin seedling stalks
coming up right now, and I will be watching!

I snatched the photo from the space age archives and have re-posted it
  to iris-photos.

John, does it have a name yet or a seedling number?
