Private Dancer

I have the most awesome iris blooming in my flower bed.  I'm certain it
is Private Dancer but when I look up the description to be sure it says
the height is 38".  Mine topped out at 42".  The blooms themselves are
big and beautiful.  Everything else about it matches.  It's bloomed
before (and other stalks are on it now and not as tall) but never has
looked like this.  I suppose taking down a big old tree helped.  I've
never had an iris do as well as the descriptions,  so to grow taller
makes me wonder.  No,   I didn't feed them either.   Am I measuring it
wrong?

lots of old purples getting ready to.
I love this time of year.
