Thanks Fred.  Look forward to hearing results.

After reading on the web about all the 'make your own' wick applicators,
I decided to experiment with stuff from the Dollar Store.  Bought a
cotton mop for $1, twisted the plastic end off the handle, poured a half
cup of water in the hollow handle, and <drum roll> I now have a dandy
wick applicator.

It dripped until the mop head was damp, then slowed to a wicking action.

With the side benefit of getting my kitchen floor mopped.

Will try it on the weeds tomorrow.

Most of the websites I saw recommended 1 part concentrated Roundup to 2
parts water, a <much> stronger concentration than I normally use.
