Is there a market for a sign that reads, "Do not disturb the hybridizer?"
Several years ago, some local iris people stopped by Bernice Miller's place
during hybridizing hours. They came home very upset because Bernice was less
than cordial!
Bernice's catalog stated (in effect) "do not to stop for visits during
hybridizing hours," but these people either didn't have her catalog or forgot to
read it! (speaking from memory here) My biggest problem is wandering out
without my materials.
Spotted many more seed sprouting in the 2nd year pots. Still nothing in the
2004 set.
