HYB: seedlings

First batch of seedlings are nearly all lined out in the garden now, 2nd
batch is hardening off in individual pots, 3rd batch is almost big
enough to pot, 4th batch starting to come up. These were all burrito'd,
but not pre-soaked. Not as good germination without the
pre-soak/leaching in the toilet tank, but still about as many seedlings
as I can handle (a few hundred). As usual, some crosses have not
germinated at all, some germinated really well.

Outdoor seeds are just starting to come up. These were planted the
'normal' way - planted in pots in late November, mulched with crumbled
up dead elm leaves, watered daily for a week or so. Depending on the
weather, these may not be big enough to line out in the garden before
hot dry weather hits in May.
