It might just be me but I am getting a bad message from this thread.
As a new hybredizer I should be careful to mark crosses right a way. If I don't I shouldn't worry as it is eazy to tell who the pollen parent was. I wll be able to tell by looking at the flower.
I think of myself as new as I have only been making crosses for 7 or 8 years. I have been able to see a resemblance to some parents in some of my seedlings. Most I have not.
I don't think we should let new people believe it is easy.
