Mike, If I left that impression, I am sorry. < I thought I  said> I hope I 
can tell which of the two possible contributors was the  pollen parent BUT I 
doubt this will be the case!  Truly it is NOT  that easy!    
 
My advice is to always tag your crosses, AND enter them in a log.  (notebook) 
 
 
But to claim that ambiguous or unknown crosses do not exist would be less  
than honest!
