I divided it into single rhizomes about 18 months ago. The 14 rhizomes I
planted now have 58 (got worried and counted) near mature fans. Grass and weeds
are pretty high in that bed. I have no idea how many immature starts may be
below my present green mulch of wild flowers. I've not got to that bed yet. Were I
going to guess I'd say 3 or maybe 4 per rhizome. Its above average in growth
rate here.
