commiserating on how forgetful we are and we came up with the bright
idea of wearing a notepad hung on a necklace with a pen attached as
costume jewelry.

After we got back, husband Jim drilled a hole for a necklace chain in a
little covered notepad with attached pencil.

I like it, but it has a plain gray cover and isn't quite stiff enough to
suit me, so I bought a little spiral notepad with heavy cardboard cover
with a great big daisy decoration.

So even when I am out in the garden making an impulse cross, I hope to
always have my necklace notepad with me.
