RE:HYD; Red bearded white

Christmas Time is a relatively good cold weather plant. Christmas Rubies allthoug it has a redder beard is not a good cold weather plant.
Fogbound is a great grower and performer here in Canada and sets pods very easily.
My owm BB Canadian Boarder is very cold hardy but can bloom out, as I found out after introducing it. Sibling Frontier Lady is a TB and is a green amoena with red beards. Will produce whites with red beard if crossed with a pink. The green is hard to get back so don't worry. It grows like a weed and is very good in cold weather.
Cloud Berry is also usuable. The lavender will fade out in sun and doesn't carry over to too many seedlings.

A red bearded blue will also be usable although there arn't too many good ones for cold weather. I do have a nice laced white seedling with red beards and a nice blue with red beards which I have been using in my own breeding program but neither are good enought to introduce. The yellow/pink is repressed in the blue with red beard so you will get some white with red beard in seedlings.

There are a number of pinks, yellows and oranges which have , seemingly , four dominate reduction of anthocyanin genes. These will produce no blue seedlings . I'd be interested to here of these cultivars so , post your reseults everyone.
