HYB: ?germination/how many yrs?

Trying to get rid of some old pots of ungerminated seeds - easy to toss
some now that I've seen enough of the seedlings to know they are really
dreadful. !!

How many years do those of you who keep pots more than one year wait for
more germination?

I'm thinking the third year will be the last for most of these crosses,
might hang onto a few promising or difficult ones a little longer.
