Mike, in order to protect the innocent, I won't ask the names of the
companies. But it would be interesting to know where (state or region) they were
growing before they came to your garden.
Keep track of the progress of your two rhizomes and let us know if the one
catches up. I'm told location can often be the problem so you might want to
move the one that is doing poorly. After a reasonable time.
Spent some time this week, reading back through parts of The World of
Irises. Fertilization was an interesting topic on page 315. I mention this
because the care of an iris immediately after bloom can have a serious effect on
the next year's performance. Or so it says! <vbg>
