Hi Colleen,
We don't particpate in but attend a "field day" sponsored by the Lake County
Nursery Growers Association which is meant primarily for large scale
commercial nurseries in Ohio and neighboring states. Although we are a very
small-scale home garden, we go to find out about new products, fertilizers,
insecticides, herbicides, etc. However, over the years we have made friends with
some of the wholesalers and are able to get some discounts on products. It is
also interesting to find out about new perennials, shrubs and trees coming on
the market. There isn't much interest there about our iris specialty.
