Hi Jill - search the archives for alternate yellow. There isn't a whole lot there, but a few interesting/helpful posts by Chuck Chapman, describing concept of alternate yellow and how it would work re: orange etc.
Chuck - Defining summer loosely as any time other than spring and starting at least a month before first frost? Usually August to mid September here at my place. avg first frost mid Oct. All I can think of right now. This thread has been posted probably more than once in the past, so might be worth looking for a few years back.
