Jill, the archives are @ www.hort.net/lists    Both the iris talk & iris photo
archives are at this location.  There are other plant archives there too.  Use
several different search topics like "recessive" AND "orange"  Or "recessives"
AND "alternate yellow."  I'm sure you can think of many more.

Linda,  for me summer bloom is from the end of TB season until about Sept 15
with the Fall Cycle irises kicking in around Oct 1.  I've not had summer
rebloom on 'Golden Immortal' here in zone 6.  In fact, it's never rebloomed
here at all.  Maybe I need another test bed.

 I muddied the waters with the comment about RENOWN X HoM giving
 tangerine bearded white & RENOWN giving yellow seedlings.  Not saying I
 thought RENOWN has alternate yellow, just that I was surprised the cross
 produced a seedling with tangerine beard.
