HISTORIC & SPECIES IRIS
We have a big collection of historic and species bearded iris. If you see
anything that interests you, please inquire as to its availability.
ARILBRED IRIS
Many of our beautiful and exotic Arilbred Iris will be sold through the
Aril Society International sale this year. Join the ASI by sending $10
for annual dues to Barbara Figge, 6805 Kentucky Ct. NE, Albuquerque, NM 871
1996 IRIS EVENTS
Tours of Denver Area iris gardens: May 18 & 27. Call Lowell for details.
Iris Shows: Denver Botanic Gardens: June 1 & 2.
Chapel Hills Mall, Colorado Springs: June 9.
Although we offer iris for sale, we are most pleased to receive visitors
who are not interesting in purchasing plants. Each season we dig only our
third year plants to be sold, so you will see many nice varieties in our
first and second year beds that are not included in the price list.
Typical bloom season centers around June 1. If irises are blooming in your
neighborhood, then they probably will be here too. One of us will usually
be home to give you a garden tour. Please call (303)791-0456 to check on
status of the bloom and to get directions.
Irises will be ready late in July. Please indicate whether you wish to pick
up your plants or whether you wish them mailed. Generous extras are
included with every order.
Join the American Iris Society: Designate AIS Membership on your order
form and include $18. We will send you a free iris of your choice from any
of our gardens.
