This is for all the more northerly iris people to
relate to: Today I am planning on shovelling my driveway, should be a tons
of fun. Went to bed last night with no snow and 4 inches arrived by the
morning with more coming. Respite is in sight though, freezing rain
should start by noon. Neat. Most of my iris are showing various nice
shades of brown. They compliment the surrounding soil very well.
Over the next 3 weeks I will be reading iris catalogues and bringing logs
in for the fireplace. Ah, yes, spring is in the air! ... somewhere. :>
