The price list got here a few days ago but I was to busy to thank
you.so..Thank you . I must say I like your prices. Yes I have seen some
of Shockeys Hybs. The inside of the AIS bulletin shows two of his OGB
children . I really like the color and form of ENERGIZER. This year Im
RE-IRISING my garden and I dont think I will be able to spend 25 .00 on
one rhizome. Maybe next year . By the way, do you or anyone on line know
where I can get pure arils? Im sure that I could grow some of the more
exotic goodies. My big problem here in So Cal. is the dormant period. So Cal
gardeners mind set is " If its not growing its dead." I find myself
fooling with things that go summer dormant. " What do you mean you are not
growing ? The weather is great .Maybe you need a little more fertilizer." And
thats the way it goes .

My wife and I are going to the convention and will be looking forward to
seeing Darell Weikles "Mulberry Soufle. Ive been talking to Darell
recently and he assures me that it should be hardy almost any place in the
states . I guess he really puts he iris through the mill before he sells them
. He has a few other new seedlings too that really sound great. From what I
understand Mulberry Souffle multiplies like mad . This will be our first
convention so this whole thing will all new to us. We are also going on the
trip to see Joe Ghios garden .If we are able to find any free time we will
be off to do some searching for depression glass. If anyone is interested
let us know we have addresses and maps ( treasure maps)
To those of you in colder climes courage spring is really coming. Hang in
there Ellie , This too will pass.
