Finally a day with two iris catalogs in the mail! I agree that the
Stockton Gardens one has beautiful stuff; it's hard to keep a list
within the space available to plant.
The other one is Ohio Gardens, a favorite supplier of mine for MTBs,
and of the eastern grown variety--not too fat, not too tiny, just right.
The catalog lists a very extensive variety of MTBs and a growing one of BBs,
with no pictures, but notes on hybridizing that are very educational
for those like me. This catalog is dedicated to the memory of Mary
Louise Dunderman, one of the greatest hybridizers of MTBs, who introduced
with Terry through Ohio Gardens.

I like the MTBs a lot--lots of stalks, good for cutting, never
fall down in wind and rain, compact.
