more seedlings!

Three more seedlings have germinated, from the same cross I mentioned
before: I. aphylla X Holden tet. aril seedling. These were planted in
fall of '94 -- I'm glad I didn't toss the flat out!
I have no reason to post this except to share the excitement of seeing
those little green points come up. The ones planted last fall have not
emerged yet, but I'm hopeful, since both batches basically got the same
treatment this winter.
Of course, if any more of them do sprout, I'll have to buy a new
house with a bigger yard!
