i had no idea clarence and suky were multimillionaires! musta sold a bunch
of those $4000 catalogs!
is there any way that getting the registrations in an electronic data base
could be a volunteer membership project? maybe have competitions among clubs
and sections with new introductions as awards? probably that would be too
much chaos....
also, from comments about the daffodil data base and computer power
requirements, it sounds like there might be some real problems handling an
iris data base, even if it were cut into chunks by sections - the tbs alone
would be a huge data set. but it might be a money making opportunity for ais
if it could do custom searches for people via online requests. 'geneological
searches - $4000 each'.
maybe in the 21st century....
