Kay and Steve,
I haven't had personal experience with this problem, but a member of
our local society, who lives in Cortland, NY, has had. And it was (and is)
MUSKRATS in her case. I believe her husband has taken up muskrat
hunting....Trapping them in leghold traps is also a fairly effective means of
control. I do not necessarily advocate either method, but I would consider
both if I were feeding muskrats with recent Sib or JI introductions....
