Dear Ellen:
I recently saw this idea on our local PBS, but I haven't tried it, yet.
I'm not completely familiar with the compatibility of the following
chemicals on Iris, so please, just consider this a suggestion, not an
endorsement:
To one quart of water add 1 tablespoonful of household lemon-scented"
ammonia, 1 tablespoonful of mint flavored Listerine mouth wash, 1
tablespoonful of liquid dish detergent (like Dawn). You can apply this
with a hose end sprayer or any type of liquid spreader. This formula is
recommended for creepy crawlers, and should be applied in the evening.
Again, I don't know if these chemicals are compatible with Iris, so
check around first.
