Talking about grotesque : I was looking at some slides from an Japanese
garden (competition?) yesterday. They had Crysanthemum hybrids that were
so tall (6-7feet) that you had to support them with steel wire, and the
flowers were so BIG (1 feet in diam.) that they needed support by a
pice of hard paper under the flower to look god.
